TTDI Expert Advisor (EA) V1.1

Triple Traders Dynamic Index Expert Advisor V1.1

Triple Traders Dynamic Index Expert AdvisorAfter using the TDI Indicator exclusively and with others during trading I decided that an Expert Advisor should be made that is mostly based on what the Indicator is showing. In previous Expert Advisors that I have made the risk was way too high and small successful profits would be consumed by one large unsuccessful loss. Knowing that this wasn’t the way to go I have been manually trading using the TDI Indicator as a main window on the financial with a few other signals as backups to make more profitable trades and less losses.

The TTDI Expert Advisor works with hugely popular Forex trading platform Metatrader 4 and comes in the correct format for it to be used (EX4). Once purchased the 2 files required to make it work will be sent to you by email with instructions to get you started as soon as we have received payment. Any follow up questions you may want to ask will be answered as clearly and as quickly as possible, please use the Contact Us page to get in touch.

How The TTDI EA Works

The set-up I use to trade can be copied over to an Expert Advisor with the right settings that would allow traders to customise it for different currency pairs and time frames. The Expert Advisor comes with a setting to allow you to control the amount of risk it takes. Playing around with these while back-testing will give you an idea of what differences they make. The higher risks involve bigger gambles but higher returns. The lower risk is a lot safer but typically produce less results over longer periods of time.

TTDI Expert Advisor with risk setting (25) returning a cool 38% in 40 days

Using 3 separate Traders Dynamic Index Indicators to judge the current trend in 3 different time frames the TDI-EA will evaluate whether their is an opportunity to make money. If the price is moving is strongly trending in one direction but is slightly deviating away from it then this Expert Advisor will treat this as a possible retractment and open a position to try and profit from it. Using a trailing stop loss based on the average movements in the past bars it will let it go until stopped out by a large retrace or change of trend. This will allow trades to stay open for as long as they are moving the way we want them too while cushioning the potential loss from trend reversals or news trading.

How Much Control Do I Have?

We all like to feel in control, even more so when our own money is at risk. The TTDI Expert Advisor has a built in numerical risk adjuster that’s easy to change in the EA settings within Metatrader 4 platform. We have tested the TTDI Expert Advisor up to setting 100 recommend only running it at up to setting 25 due to the possible DRAWDOWN experienced. See the following backtesting results for a visual idea of what happens when you increase the risk setting:

The risk settings explained:

  1. The lowest risk setting (1) returns the lowest returns but also risks the least amount of the account SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  2. Adding a little risk with setting (5) returns a higher profit but has a larger drawdown SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  3. Moving up the risk rating to (10) starts to open it up, achieving just over 15% return in under 45 days SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  4. Another step up the ladder to (15) showed an almost 23% increase in capital over a month and a half SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  5. Almost at the highest level we recommend experimenting with (20) shows a very cool 30% increase SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  6. The highest setting we recommend you try out (at your own will!) is (25) showing us a returning of almost 40% SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE

Its not impossible to go over 25 as a risk setting but the drawdown gets really intense as you get higher!

The Allow Hedging Option:

Hedging is not allowed by some Forex brokers so we included the option to turn it off when trading. Turning off hedging seems to drive the drawdown up a little and miss out on some lucrative positions. It does reduce the “gambling” factor a small amount but I would rather have it switched on if your broker allows it.

  1. Results of RISK level 25 with HEDGING switched off SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  2. Results of RISK level 20 with HEDGING switched off SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  3. Results of RISK level 15 with HEDGING switched off SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  4. Results of RISK level 10 with HEDGING switched off SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE
  5. Results of RISK level 5 with HEDGING switched off SEE DETAILED RESULTS PAGE

Stoploss Option (V1.1)

In V1.1 a Stoploss has been introduced. This extra level of security for your accounts capital can reduce the drawdown experienced and also reduces the risk of being wiped out by one major move in the markets. It does cause a few more losses when used but as you backtest and experiment you will get an idea of whether you want to turn it on with your trading.

Reviews

Do you have an opinion of the TTDI Expert Advisor? These people did:

What’s An Expert Advisor?

An Expert Advisor is a script that is run to trade automatically without human interaction. It will analyse 1 or more currencies in 1 or more time frames and make judgements as to whether it could make a trade that would be profitable. It handles these trades by deciding how much money to invest (based on what a human has programmed into it as a percent or lot-size) and acting upon it when the opurtunity arises. The massively popular trading terminal Metatrader allows you to run an Expert Advisor in any window. You can have as many windows as you like open (within reason) so you can have lots running at the same time.

EA’s Are Not Human

An Expert Advisor also removes the clumsy emotional human element from the trading strategy. A lot of newbies slowly learn that their biggest  enemy is themselves. After loosing enough times you develop a knowledge of whether you should trust what you are thinking and stay with a trade and see it out instead of cutting your losses. Expert Advisors only do what they are programmed to do. EA‘s look for buy/sell signals and to close positions if they are no longer looking like they are going to gain in value.

    • admin says:

      Hi Helmut

The TTDI Expert Advisor works on an M1 graph. I have tested it on the 4 major pairs with similar success, its not restricted to any 1 pair. I will post the results after testing the profitability of each pair within the next few days

I was looking fwd for this indicator and fair price you put on your site was $30. How come you put out the price of $99?

    • admin says:

      Hi Ikram

I had originally intended for this to retail at $30 during development but when I saw the results I decided that $99 better represents it value. The TTDI-EA pays itself back fairly quickly.

      Hi Otto

Links to live third party testing will be posted on this page shortly. Risking real money without testing an EA is ultra risky like you say, I recommend testing this out with different settings to evaluate its performance first before allowing it to trade with your money.

Why u need to sell this? either the person who sells this might be a fool or the person who buys this must be…..99$ for million $ earnings….

    • admin says:

      Hi Craig

Million dollar earnings would be fantastic! Its made for a stable percentage increase of your accounts capital, most Forex brokers wont allow you to have high leverage with a lot of money in your account ($5000+ I believe) so to be realistic you would have a hard job to make millions with it. This EA isn’t one of the “Million Dollar Get Rich Quick Schemes” that you see with a backtesting report that goes through the roof, it just isn’t achievable. Im selling this as another channel of income, it doesn’t cost me anything to do so and im happy to be doing it.

      Hi Warmo

Over the next week I will post links to third party websites showing a live version being tested with the results for the world to see, hopefully this will help proof the TTDI EA is as good as I say it is.

It looks like the website has been taken down as well, Im sorry to hear about this. Im not going to make any mad promises that this will make you millions but it was designed to make my life a little easier by being my eyes on all the currencies.

When I post the links to third party evaluators that are testing my EA you can see for yourself whether it is as I have described.

Best of luck with your trading.

  9. Fredy says:

The system is using Martingale method adding to losing trades, similar to TOM’s EA….
    1) Any relationship to TOM’s EA?
    2) And, what’s the Stop Loss you used? 600 pips?
    Interested.
    Thank you.

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Fredy

Good observation, you are correct it does use Martingale. The EA and I have no relationship with any other commercial Expert Advisor’s other than sharing the same code etc. this is custom made to my requirements. The stop loss is available as an option that I can turn on and off for the customer if they request it, I choose to have it off personally. The stoploss can also be set dynamically by Moving Average, this again is currently an option that I have to configure into it for the customer, will be easily changed by the customer in a future release that will be emailed to customers for free

  10. Rich P says:

Do you offer any refunds or risk-free guarantee?
    Thanks

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Rich P

Forex is probably one of the riskiest investments for your money, I can’t offer any type of risk free guarantee of its use but I do promise that it does what it says on the tin….. It trades using the Traders Dynamic Index Indicator and using a Martingale system. I have had great results with it as published higher up this page. Im not promising you a million dollar profit over-night but proper usage after experimenting with it can make you a nice stable profit for your Forex account.

  11. Thiago says:

Can it run on a account balance of US$30,00?

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Thiago

I wouldn’t recommend trading live until you test it out an a practice account and get to grips with the RISK settings used and are comfortable with the way it works. It chooses lot sizes dynamically depending on RISK level whatever size your account is. Hope this answers your question.

  12. Fredy says:

    1) Does it offer a “30-Day Money Back Guarantee” like other EAs do?

    2) Does it requires a password to be keyed-in to run?

    3) Does it provides a lifetime upgrade just like the other EAs?

    Thank you.

    • Alex B says:

      Hello again Fredy

If the Expert Advisor doesn’t do what I have advertised it too then I am more than happy to give a refund. I will obviously do all I can to make sure that any problems are sorted out rather than refunded though. The EA doesn’t require a password to run, only to get the download which is sent after payment. As for upgrades, I have a few other ideas that I want to put into it and once done I will email everyone with the new version free of charge.

      • Fredy says:

I believe your system is very new and just out?
Without a “Money-Back Guarantee” like others do, will drive many customer away…
But, if this is what I think it will do and much better, I think I’m willing to take the risk with you.

        • Alex B says:

This is a brand new system, the money back side of things is where it gets a little difficult. I will work with you if you have problems to address them, if the worst comes to the worst then refunds will be given, thanks

  13. Fredy says:

    For the Martingale part…

    1) Does it increased in lot size after 3rd, 4th levels?

    2) If it does increase, without Stop Loss in place how many lots and levels will it reaches?

    Thank you.

    • Alex B says:

Looking at the backtesting it appears to keep the lots the same size throughout. The Martingale side of it was engineered by the developer and I let him work the mechanics of it out, it produces good results and I was happy with it.

      • Fredy says:

Wow…. these are very important issues if a Martingale system will work or not!
        They should be addressed!
Hopefully you can get the answer for me?
        Thank you!

        • Alex B says:

I recommend testing the EA out for yourself and seeing how it works, from the results posted on this page that I have posted honestly you can see that it does provide a good level of profit from its decisions.

          • Fredy says:

            1) But without a Trial Period, how am I going to test it out?

            2) As for the results… the EA run from Nov till now which are in a trading range, which is very good for a system like this. What if it’s trending 500 to 1000 pips? How is this EA going to cope? Just keep adding until it blows the account?

          • Alex B says:

I understand your hesitation, if you wait for a few more days I will post links to third party testing to back me up on this page. The EA isn’t just Martingale, don’t forget a large chunk of it is the TDI indicator and it does take losses if it has too, overall I believe it performs well and it does the job that it was made for fantastically. Im sure you will be impressed when you see the forward-testing

  14. Arief says:

    Hi,

can it survive the last 10 years market condition?

    Regards

    Arief

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Arief

Due to only having the last 50~ days of M1 data I could only test that far. If I can get hold of further data I would be more than happy to post results. I think the forward testing will speak better for itself when it is available from third parties.

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Mike

Thanks for pointing that out to me, I have corrected it and actually posted a RISK 25 non hedged in its place, il try and post all of the RISK settings non-hedged later on today for a better comparison.

      • ronny1 says:

        Hi,
I’m confused with the hedging settings. In the statements without hedging is hedging mode “true”. In the one statement with hedging is hedging mode switched to “false”. Is this a bug in the EA-test version or what means that?
        Greetings from Ronny

  16. ronny1 says:

    Hi Alex,
thanks for fast reply, now it’s very clearer for me. Will this EA definetly give a try.
If it works with some other currencys this could give a stable performance for every account I think.

    Greetings Ronny

    • Alex B says:

Im currently running it on a lower RISK setting on 12 currencies at once. Stats will be added to this page soon showing the performance of the TTDI on a live account using this setup. It will also give a general idea of how good it is on each major currency pair. Thanks Ronny

  17. ronny1 says:

    Hi Alex,
after I bought the EA last night now my first impressions – the good and the bad & the crazy….;-)
The good: the EA works and it seems the logic behind is a winner, no doubt.
I have the EA workin’ on 2 accounts: Tadawul and Go Markets. After the EA opens no trades over night on 4 currencies with Tadawul I opened another account with Go Markets and after one hour I saw the first five trades: The Crazy: I decided to put the EA on all available currencys, which is 24 pairs, because I was hungry to see the EA workin’.
The Bad: Some trades was closed without any reason, after 10th attempt to modify the trade.
My thoughts: too many open pairs, the MT 4 is in trouble and closed the trades, if it’s positive or negative. So I lost around 100 USD.
By the way: I use for demotrading 10k-accounts, Risk is at 10, so it opened 0,1 Lot trades.
At the time I’m around 40 USD in the red (-200,- floating loss and 160,- closed profit, without the mistake from my side I would be in profit, which is fine. Largest draw down was around 200 USD, which is very good with 24 pairs, this is the basket-effect.
Now I found out, was caused the problems with Tadawul (which is a very good broker) – no opened trades. It’s the “risk”-function. The EA will open 0,14 Lot according to the account size, but Tadawul uses 0,05 steps, and so we get an Error-message.
My conclusion is, the risk-function is fine for beginners, but I would rather prefer to have an input with a fixed Lot-size. This would fix the problem.
The other thing is, that the automated take profit of 30 Pip for most of the currencys will work, but possibly for some other pairs (with not so much volatility like EURCHF – actually – or EURGBP – traditionally – but not in the last months) could a variable take profit be more profitable.
If there will be another updated version from the EA it would be fine if there could a place for my suggestions.
Other thing is, that we need much testing to find out the best workin’ 6 or 8 pairs.
If I find out some new things I will report it.
    Greetings from Ronny

    • Alex B says:

      Hi Ronny

The EA has definitely got potential to be very lucrative, like you say it can be a massive gamble due to the Martingale features. Im actually working on some bits and pieces for version 1.2 and everybody’s feedback is really helping. Im also testing it with a ‘basket’ of currencies to both spread the risks and also see which work best.

Version 1.2 will have more communication with the outside world to explain what it is that it is thinking and doing for each currency. Thanks for the feedback Ronny, really helps. Il probably set up a page on this site for set-ups that work for each currency then everybody can exchange ideas better.

      Regards
